Fostering Entrepreneurship
RESOLV continuously integrates advanced transfer concepts with graduate education and Early Career Researcher’s (ECR’s) training. Our events, such as workshops, career development training, or networking with professionals in a relaxed atmosphere, open up options for our ECRs for a career after the doctorate or postdoc. In order to foster the entrepreneurial attitude of graduate and postdoctoral researchers, RESOLV works closely with the dedicated incubator for chemistry Start4Chem, part of the Worldfactory at RUB, and the Center for Entrepreneurship & Transfer (CET) at TUDo. Both are part of the Exzellenz Start-Up Center.NRW and offer coaching in patenting, contracting, stakeholder management, and business development.
Collaborations with External Partners and Companies
RESOLV provides an open research environment. We believe that sharing know-how means sharing benefits, that cooperation projects are short-cuts to application and knowledge transfer. It all starts with talking to each other. The core of our transfer activities form contractual collaborations of our researchers with application-oriented institutions and industrial partners.
Building Strong Networks
One of RESOLV’s core missions is to intertwine scientific innovation with added economic and social value to help address society's imminent challenges and to sensitize communities to the way science contributes to our future. Since 2023, RESOLV has been organizing a RESOLV Industry Networking Event on the occasion of the World Science Day for Peace and Development.

The RESOLV Office acts as the first contact point for both our researchers – providing joint support with the institutional transfer centers regarding IP or contractual issues, joint ventures with industrial partners or start-ups – and externals stakeholders who wish to enter in contact with our researchers.
