Reactive molecular species like radicals, polyradicals, carbenes, and molecular ions play crucial roles in understanding molecular reactivity, especially in solvent environments. Understanding reactive molecules is challenging yet crucial. The interdisciplinary seminar was a resounding success in shedding light on these complex entities and their significance in molecular reactivity as well as in connecting renowned international researchers and early-career scientists from diverse scientific fields.
Following this event, a significant number of attendees could seamlessly transition to the next top event: the WE-Heraeus seminar focusing on "Photoinduced, Charge-Driven, and Molecular Processes under Confinement", organized by the Graduiertenkolleg 2376 Confinement-Controlled Chemistry.
