The RESOLV General Assembly gathered last week to elect Prof. Dr. Enrica Bordignon as the new speaker of the RESOLV Gender Board. Prof. Dr. Beatriz Roldan left the post vacant since October 1st, 2017, when she officially became Max-Planck-Institute director at the Fritz-Haber Institute in Berlin.
“We congratulate Prof. Roldan for the new prestigious position, and wish her all the best for the future”, said Prof. Dr. Martina Havenith, speaker of RESOLV. “We are happy to have a new, energizing personality like Enrica Bordignon as speaker of the Gender Board”, she added. Bordignon is since April 2016 professor of EPR Spectroscopy at RUB as well as member of RESOLV. “I am thrilled to participate in building a more equal scientific environment and to help other women in science”, said the new speaker of the RESOLV Gender Board.
