Onboarding Event Welcomes New RESOLV Members

RESOLV’s biannual “On Board” event was held October 12, 2024 in the picturesque town of Hagen, welcoming the new members of the RESOLV community

21 individuals participated, including IGSS members, IMOS members, participants from the Iranian program, winners of the Students Challenge, and a double-degree member. During the event, participants had the opportunity to meet their new colleagues, network, and learn about the culture.

The excursion to the magnificent LWL-Freilichtmuseum Hagen offered a glimpse into the past of the area. It displays buildings and workshops from the end of the 18th century. The Attendees observed various traditional crafts and could participate in hands-on activities such as rope making, sampling local sausages, and printing on paper using 18th-century techniques.

Special recognition was given to the winners of the Students Challenge program, who received their certificates and prizes from RESOLV. The day concluded with a delightful lunch at a traditional German restaurant, providing a perfect end to a day filled with learning and fun.
