The workshop is offered by the Research Data Service of UDE in co-operation with the Research Academy Ruhr.
In the workshop, you will be given an overview of the basics of research data management (RDM) - with a focus on electronic lab notebooks, scripts and code. Together with you, the role of data organisation, metadata and documentation in RDM will be explored. You will receive practical tips on tools and the storage, archiving and publication of data. You will also find out what a data management plan (DMP) can do for your project work.
Previous knowledge is not required.
