On 24th of November 2016 again 40 PhD students and early postdocs used the chance to talk to seven guests - CEOs, Department Managers, R&D Managers and Alumni - about possible future career options during a delicious dinner buffet in restaurant Strätlingshof in Bochum. Download the Guest list.

On 18th of November Dr. Danijel Borosa from Borosa Acoustic Levitation invited to the afternoon workshop "From the idea to a marketable product - how to found a start-up company". He explained how a production and design process works and showed different prototypes and the marketable product.

On 14th and 15th of September 2016 the ECRs organized an excursion to the SOLEIL synchrotron in Paris, France. 12 participants learned about the beamlines and measurements carried out at SOLEIL.

On 12th of September 2016 TranSOLV is organising an excursion to ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe.

On the 20th of April 2016 TranSOLV organized an excursion to Bayer Health Care in Wuppertal.
