On 7th of December 2015 Barbara Hoffbauer from KEPOS offers a follow-up day after the workshop on Career Opportunities in November. The focus of the follow-up workshop is on how to write job applications and to train job interview situations.

On 4th of November 2015 advanced PhD students and early postdocs learned about Career opportunites after the PhD in science and industry from Barbara Hoffbauer, trainer at KEPOS. The Workshop was fully booked and the need for a follow-up workshop was made clear.

On 1st of October, 2015 the fourth ECR General Assembly took place during the GSS Autumn Workshop at Fraunhofer UMSICHT.

From 26th - 28th August 2015 the ECRs offer a Workshop "Academic Poster Presentation" in english with the trainer Mark Edwards. 12 PhD students learn how to catch the attention of the audience, how to speak, stand and gesture and how to speak simply yet with clarity and impact.

On 16th March 2015 RESOLV organized a symposium on EPR spectroscopy where experts in the field presented their work in RUB Conference Center.

Program

On 3th and 4th of December 2014 the ECRs visited "Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron - A Research Centre of the Helmholtz Association" in Hamburg. 26 participants learned about the resources of the DESY and its measurements by guided tours at several beamlines of the electron synchrotron.
