Bayer Health Care has over 100 years of experience in the fields of pharmaceutical research, development and production at their location in Wuppertal. About 20 different active agents are developed at this location, which are then further processed to medicine in other Bayer plants and finally send all over the world. Besides that, chemical and biotechnological processing is also situated at the Bayer plant in Wuppertal, since novel drugs can only be produced industrially after chemists, biologists and engineers have developed new processes.
