To celebrate the Day of Science, RESOLV organized an event to bring future employees together with their prospective employers. Over 100 participants met with representatives from six different companies, fostering valuable connections.
The annual World Science Day for Peace and Development is celebrated every 10th of November. Each year, the United Nations provides a theme; this year’s theme is “Youth at the Forefront.” In this spirit, RESOLV focuses on the careers of our young professionals. Integrating highly trained talents into the industry is key to solving society’s challenges.
The day was filled with opportunities for RESOLV’s young scientists to network and gain valuable career advice. With talks from HR representatives, participants learned what recruiters are looking for in potential candidates. Events like these foster collaboration, enhance career prospects and inspire innovation. They also help bridge the gap between academia and industry, ensuring that emerging scientists are well-prepared to tackle real-world problems.
