21 individuals participated, including IGSS members, IMOS members, participants from the Iranian program, winners of the Students Challenge, and a double-degree member. During the event, participants had the opportunity to meet their new colleagues, network, and learn about the culture.
The excursion to the magnificent LWL-Freilichtmuseum Hagen offered a glimpse into the past of the area. It displays buildings and workshops from the end of the 18th century. The Attendees observed various traditional crafts and could participate in hands-on activities such as rope making, sampling local sausages, and printing on paper using 18th-century techniques.
Special recognition was given to the winners of the Students Challenge program, who received their certificates and prizes from RESOLV. The day concluded with a delightful lunch at a traditional German restaurant, providing a perfect end to a day filled with learning and fun.
