On March 7, the first WSC Demo Day took place at the O-Werk in Bochum. The event gave 10 Worldfactory start-ups the opportunity to pitch their solutions, successes and visions for the future and to be awarded the "WSC-Sternchen 2023" prize. From RESOLV, FP-RESOMUS fellow Dr. Celia Mellion and her team from the start-up HoLa were particularly convincing. Their start-up HoLa was awarded the first prize.

The workshop “Ready for Future – Broaden your Skillset for different Career Paths” is a workshop designed by START4CHEM especially for the RESOLV graduate school. The aim of the workshop is to enable PHD students to identify relevant future trends in their research field in order to be able to develop application scenarios and communicate them to different target groups through the method of pitching. The workshop spans a total of four afternoons of 4 hours each.

On Friday the 05.08.2022 the RESOLV alumni got a chance to meet once again in person and catch up with one another over BBQ and drinks. In view of its upcoming 10th anniversary, RESOLV invited all former and current PhD students and post docs for the first ever alumni meeeting.  For a reunion with old colleagues, over 20 alumni from all corners of Germany travelled back to Bochum. In the most glorious summer weather, they and the current PHD students enjoyed a lovely evening event.

RESOLV presented their joint transfer concept with Start4Chem at the 10th Edition of the EuroScience Open Forum 2022 in the beautiful city of Leiden, Netherlands.

"What will I do after my graduation?" - This is a question occurs to many students at the end of their studies. To help with this question, the Career Day was held on June 9th as part of the Summer School Solvation Science 2022. For an entire afternoon, attendees were able to learn from five experts from various industries.
