On 18th of November Dr. Danijel Borosa from Borosa Acoustic Levitation invited to the afternoon workshop "From the idea to a marketable product - how to found a start-up company". He explained how a production and design process works and showed different prototypes and the marketable product.

After its succes in Blue Square in Bochum, the exhibition "Völlig losgelöst" took place in the museum "Strom & Leben" (Electricity & Life) in Recklinghausen on 2nd November 2016. Two authors were on-site and report about their impressions in our new blog.

On 2nd September 2016 the annual ECR soccer competition and summer festival took place at the soccer fields behind the G buildings to fight for the Chemistry Master's Cup 2016.

From 24th to 26th of August, 2016 the ECRs offered a 3-days Workshop "Scientific Writing" in English with the trainer Mark Edwards. 12 PhD students learned how to overcome writing barriers and how to structure the own writing process.
